NewEgg lists MSI Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics card at an absurd $ 1100 dollars.
A MSI Radeon RX 6600 XT Gaming X graphics card was temporarily available for purchase at Newegg for the price of 1,100 US dollars. Following the official introduction of the graphics card, it is VERY unlikely that street prices will be THAT expensive.
AMD's new Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics card will officially go on sale on Wednesday. Newegg made an outrageously expensive offer. A comparable graphics card was recently made available by the US retailer Newegg, for which an extremely high price was demanded. The price for the exact model, an MSI Radeon RX 6600 XT Gaming X, was an unbelievable 1,100 US dollars (about 935 euros).
AMD actually plans to bring the Radeon RX 6600 XT to market for a considerably cheaper price than the current MSRP of $379. Most likely, the graphics cards will be available on the market in limited quantities, causing the actual price to be substantially higher than it was before they were removed.
The MSI RX 6600 XT Gaming probably won't cost $ 379, which is the official AMD suggested price for this model. MSI's Gaming X is the high-end variant with factory overclocking and an above-average cooling solution, which will definitely drive up the final price. It is not yet clear whether it will be close to $400 or $500. However, it definitely shouldn't cost $ 1100.

Well, they know that it'll be scalped anyway, so they charge the scalper's prices instead.
Since it ships from China, you have also to consider that you'll be charged your country's import fees and tax on top of the $1100.

Stop using Newegg, Amazon, Alibaba and so... you will see price droping down.
As i have said many time, in real physical shop the price is just above official price right now (they have to do marging) for ANY video card.
The only thing is that you still wait a week or two if not in stock due to shortage.
Exept if you want it, you shouldn't pay price like that, as there is no more reason to have those price.

Honestly gamers have shown they will pay literally any price for a GPU. $1100 seems fine to me considering they would all sell out at that price anyway.

And everyone blamed scalpers for outrageous prices.
My, my...greed is the only game played worldwide without any doubt.
