New Microsoft Keyboard Has a Hidden Fingerprint Sensor
Microsoft release a new keyboard called ‘Modern Keyboard’, and it features a fingerprint sensor that can be used to login with Windows Hello. The keyboard can work over bluetooth or with a wire.
The replacement for the Surface Keyboard lets users scan a fingerprint by just pressing a button to log in to a Windows 10 account. The method can also be used to log in to other websites that use Windows Hello. The button blends in with all of the other keys, making it less conspicuous.
The new keyboard (42.9 x 11.26 x 1.93cm), unlike the Surface Keyboard, can be plugged in. Its predecessor could only be used via Bluetooth.Microsoft's website says the new technology will be available soon, and for the price of $129.99. It also isn't Windows-exclusive. Microsoft also revealed the Modern Mouse. This is a wireless mouse with an ergonomic design and a metal scroll wheel. “Precisely constructed sound for clicks and scrolling. Quiet enough to not disturb, distinct enough to hear your control,” Microsoft promises. It’s listed at $49.99 in the Microsoft Store and should also ‘come soon’.

Yeah not gonna pay $129 for a basic ass keyboard with flat keys. I'd much prefer to spend less money on a much better mechanical keyboard.
