NEC Launches MultiSync E271N and EA271F 27-inch desktop monitors
NEC today announced the launch of two 27-inch desktop monitors, the MultiSync E271N and the MultiSync EA271F, both panels are fitted with an IPS panel. The EA271F comes with a pectraViewII Color Calibration Solution.
The E271N features Low Blue Light and Flicker Free certifications, Ambix3 connectivity (DisplayPort, HDMI, VGA) and speakers. With a fully functional stand (tilt, rotate, dual direction pivot, height adjust), business-class speakers and a thin client mount included, it fits in nearly every environment, and its IPS panel offers great viewing from any angle. An excellent desktop at a great price, it's a perfect fit for corporate and SMB environments, back office and education, and other deployments where cost is a factor and great imaging is desired.
- LED backlight technology provides for industry-leading low power consumption and less hazardous materials
- Fully adjustable quick-release stand, including height-adjust (130mm), pivot, tilt and swivel capabilities, adds flexibility and comfort to your viewing preferences
- Full connectivity, including DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI-D and VGA inputs
- Touch-sensitive OSD controls are integrated into the bezel, making display adjustments easier than ever
- Human and ambient light sensors automatically detect your work conditions to determine the proper display brightness, thereby conserving power
- ECO Mode™ allows for up to 56% more power conservation (vs. typical power settings), reducing your energy costs
The more advanced EA271F replaces the MultiSync EA273WMi. Its IPS panels provide high-quality image performance and great viewing angles, and NEC has added hardware calibration when combined with NEC's exclusive SpectraViewII™. With a fully functional, dual direction pivot stand, it's designed to fit any workspace and is perfect for any deployment where great imaging is desired and USB 3.1 is required. It features Low Blue Light and Flicker Free certifications, Ambix3 connectivity, speakers and human sensors that can save energy when a user isn't nearby.
Both models are designed for multi-monitor configurations and the EA271F also includes NEC's exclusive ControlSync, which keeps settings in sync when using more than one monitor. Both models are also effective for small signage uses (less than 24/7) and are supported by a 3-year warranty.
The E271N will be available in early June at a minimum advertised price of $319. The EA271F and SpectraView bundle EA271F-BK-SV will be available in early June at a minimum advertised price of $419 and $569 respectively.

How can an entire monitor post not mention one word about the resolution of the monitors?

LoL at the prices for a 1080p monitor. They tried too hard with the marketing on the specs to make them seem more advanced.
I guess it's because of the calibration tool but then again Dell sells factory calibrated monitors cheaper than this.
