MSI Teases X299 A little more with X299 GODLIKE GAMING

Last week MSI already posted a teaser, this week again just that, a teaser. However is shows the model name which would be the X299 GODLIKE GAMING and man, that thing is getting some impressive WIFI from the looks of it.

The earlier photo already showed four reinforced PCI-Express slots and three shielded M.2 slots. This round you can see three Ethernet connectors, USB 3.1 and two 5G Wi-Fi antennas. This motherboard is expected to launch next month along with a new lineup of Intel Core i9 CPUs. The GODLIKE motherboards are flagship motherboards from MSI. The USB solution will be based on a ASM3142 USB 3.1 controller that offers 16 Gb/s performance.

Three Ethernet ports?

I wonder why they decided to have three Ethernet ports instead of more USB ports? Just seems odd to me.

I have to agree with your assessment, the most Ethernet ports on a motherboard I have seen in the past was two and that was on a ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe motherboard.

It's funny... cause A) i didn't even notice the 3 ethernet ports until i read his comment pointing it out, and B) I believe i actually used to have that exact motherboard. haha

But... i thought two ethernet ports was still fairly normal. I must have missed when that stopped being a thing.
