MSI Outs Optix G27C5 monitor at 165 Hz

MSI released a new monitor, this time the Optix G27C5 monitor at 165 Hz, a 27-inch full HD gaming LCD that uses a Samsung VA panel with 1500R curvature. It supports a response speed of 1 ms and a refresh rate of 165 Hz.

In addition, the display synchronization technology supports AMD FreeSync, eliminating tearing and stuttering. Furthermore, it has two types of eye care functions, "Anti-Flicker" and "Blue Light Reduction", to reduce fatigue caused by long-time game play. The main specifications are brightness 250nit, viewing angle horizontal / vertical 178 °, contrast ratio 3,000: 1, display color 16.7 million colors, color gamut DCI-P3 90% / sRGB 113% compatible. The interface is DisplayPort 1.2 x 1, HDMI x 2, earphone terminal x 1, and adopts a narrow frame design with 3 sides that suppresses the top / right / left bezel width.

The size of the main body is 611.5 mm in width, 219.6 mm in depth, 456.6 mm in height, and 4.59 kg in weight. The stand supports -5 to 20 ° tilt, and the VESA mounter has a 100x100mm pitch. At this point, no sales announcement has been made for this product in the market.

I still wonder why new Monitors don't get DP 1.4? Wish there would be more 24-inch because everything else is too big for gaming imho.

I agree with the dp 1.4 statement, although i strongly disagree on the 24 inch statement as someone that played for years on 27 inches and now games on 32 1440p i love it ! Going to a 24 inch screen it feels small and frustrates me :p , that said this is a 100% subjective matter.
