MSI GeForce GTX Titan Z Launches .... Kinda ..

You'll be hard-pressed to find a review on one as Nvidia did not even inform media and press of this launch. It is interesting to see all board partners launch GeForce Titan Z as a gaming product, whilst Nvidia launches it as a 'proffesionsl' series card. Anyway, AIB partners have launched their cards. First up is MSI.

MSI is pleased to announce the availability of the NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN Z utilizing the world’s most powerful GPU. With two Kepler GPUs and 12GB of dedicated frame buffer memory, GTX TITAN Z is engineered for next-generation 5K and multi-monitor gaming.

With two GK110 chips, GTX TITAN Z is powered by a total of 5,760 processing cores. GTX TITAN Z gives you truly amazing performance—easily making it the fastest graphics card we’ve ever made. NVIDIA GPU Boost 2.0 technology allows the core clock to be automatically adjusted on the fly for optimal in-game performance. When used with the MSI Afterburner overclocking utility, the power limit and clock offset can be adjusted as well for better overclocking capability. A single card can also support NVIDIA 3DVision Surround technology for up to four monitors to give gamers the best viewing experience. The MSI GeForce GTX TITAN Z is the best choice for serious gamers.

Technical specifications

Name NTITAN Z 12GD5
GPU NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan Z
Codename GK110B
Processors 5706 Units
Base Clock / Boost clock (MHz) 706 / 876
Memory size (MB) / Type 12288 / GDDR5
Memory speed (MHz) / Memory bus 7010 / 2x 384 bits
Dimensions (mm) / weight (g) / TDP (W) 269x111x53 / 1364 / 375

The MSI GeForce GTX TITAN Z graphics card supports NVIDIA's GPU Boost 2.0 technology that allows the core clock to be adjusted on the fly for optimal performance. Through QUAD-SLI technology, the performance of multiple graphics cards can definitely satisfy the demands of any hard-core gamer.

You'll need 3000 USD to be able to purchase the card though.

Some people could call me crazy but there is a big change i buy this card, if the performance is pretty good.

Hopefully Hillbert u get your hands on this card soon, and test the hell out of it

I expect that perf will be worse then two GTX 780 Ti cards in SLI, yet you pay 2.5x the price.

The cards are not available anywhere ... only preorders.

You're crazy.

Get 2 Titan Blacks.

If your motherboard doesn't support SLI. Get a new motherboard and 2 Titan Blacks and it'll still cost less than a Titan z!

Heat heat heat, and my soundBlaster Zx gets a problem to fit in, i destroy the airflow then.

Single SLI cards run way less hot then 2 cards in SLI.
