Mobo manufacturers start teasing X299 - ASUS ROG Prime gets onboard LCS Display

Intel’s Basin Falls platform (X299) is about the see some announcements. Motherboard makers are pushing what seem to be fancy and expensive motherboards for the pending expensive processors. Here an overview of teasers.

ASUS ROG PRIME motherboard with LCD

ASUS right now is teasing their ROG PRIME motherboard with LCD panel. That's something new alright, and definitely somthing that can become trendy in 2018:

ASRock is teasing the X299 Taichi.

MSI X299 GAMING Series

The images are hard the predict a Z270, X370 or X299 motherboard The GAMING PRO teaser is clearly for some sort of new enthusiast setup judging from the Turbo Socket and 4 memory slots present near the IO bracket, (common for quad-channel).

GIGABYTE X299 AORUS

Gigabyte on their end is etasing with AORUS and LEDs. Here again it is hard to tell if this is X299 but with that many PCIe slots, it kind of has to be.

Oh @JamesSneed I didn't make the pic, check again. But it can well not be a complete typo, since LCs stands for liquid crystals and the word display is next :nerd:
