MINISFORUM UM580 ultra-compact PC equipped with Ryzen 7 5800H (8 cores and 16 threads)
MINISFORUM has introduced the UM580 ultra-compact PC, which is powered by a Ryzen 7 5800H processor with 8 cores and 16 threads. Reservations will be accepted on the same day, with product shipping expected for the end of August.
According to the UM560 presented in the May 31 press release, the CPU has been updated from Ryzen 5 5625U to Ryzen 7 5800H. The amount of cores and speeds for both the CPU and GPU have been increased, and it performs well despite its small size. The interface is USB Type-C (DP compatible) x 1, USB Type-C x 1 (data only), 3.5 mm audio jack x 1, DMIC x 1, rear is USB Type-C x 1 (DP) / 65W PD compliant), USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A x 2, HDMI x2, and so on.
External measurements are 127 mm broad, 128 mm deep, and 47 mm tall. In addition to the barebone kit, there are five more options in the lineup: 8GB memory + 256GB SSD, 16GB memory + 256GB SSD, 16GB memory + 512GB SSD, and 32GB memory + 512GB SSD.
The base model is to cost 419 USD.

Can't wait for Phoenix Point (Zen 4 + RDNA 3) to get into one of these in it to retire my laptop working as an HTPC to have an actual HTPC (and using the laptop as a laptop).
