Minisforum announced the Tiger Lake-powered NUCX17 and NUCX15, with NVIDIA graphics

Minisforum is going to launch two new Intel chip mini PCs. Both of them will share the same case design, equipped with a discrete graphics card. The Minisforum NUCXI5 is equipped with Intel Core i5-11400H CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060.

Both computers measure 80 millimeters in length, 260 millimeters in width, and 394 millimeters in height. NUCXI5 Minisforum gets a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 and Intel Core i5-11400H processor. Intel unveiled the Core i5-11400H Hexa-core SoC in the middle of 2021.It features 6 cores, 12 threads, and a 4.5 GHz boost speed. The CPU features DDR4-3200 memory and an L3 cache of 12 MB. NVIDIA unveiled the GeForce RTX 3060 Mobile in 2021. It is equipped with the GA106 Ampere CPU and 6 GB of GDDR6 graphics RAM.

The Minisforum NUCXI7's CPU and GPU are more powerful: Intel Core i7-11800H and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070. In the middle of 2021, Intel will also show off the high-end Octa-core Core i7-11800H. With 8 cores and 16 threads, the performance can reach 4.6 GHz. The CPU features DDR4-3200 memory and a 24 MB Level 3 cache. NVIDIA created the GeForce RTX 3070 Mobile, which was released in 2021. A 256-bit memory bus and 8GB of GDDR6 graphics RAM are included. They have the ability to utilize 64GB of DDR4 memory with two channels.

They include one HDMI connector, one Thunderbolt 4 port, and two M.2 2280 PCIe slots for extra storage. When purchased with storage, Windows 11 Pro is already installed on the PC.

The item talks about both the RTX 3060 and RTX 3060 Mobile, so which one are they using now? Same for the higher specced version with the RTX 3070, it also talks about that GPU and the RTX 3070 Mobile. So which one is it now?

I wonder if these will support XMP? Its kind of insane that the last enthusiast NUC to support XMP was the NUC8i7HVK. You can combine undervolt + increased power limits with fast RAM to squeeze 10-15% more performance out of these.
