Latest Intel driver enables dynamic refresh rate
A Dynamic Refresh Rate (DDR) functionality in Windows 11 was first discovered earlier this year, it would allow PCs with high refresh rate displays to dynamically switch between low and high frequencies depending on whether the user is scrolling or is inactive.
Intel's most recent generic display drivers now have a new option for supporting this feature, which appears throughout the installation process. DDR is supposed to improve pen touches by reducing latency, as well as make animation scrolling smoother, while also assisting in the reduction of battery consumption.
Because the.exe installer will not work, you must manually install the drivers (download drivers from the zip file, then upgrade drivers via Device Manager) in order to utilize them.
The good news, on the other hand, is that the dynamic refresh rate for Windows 11 devices (those with screens that refresh at 90Hz or above) will be available soon. There will most certainly be more laptops that enable this capability available in the future months.
It was previously only possible to select either 60 or 120 Hz for Dynamic, but now there is also the option of selecting either 60 or 120 Hz. The option to include a dynamic refresh rate can be found under the following menu options: Settings > Display > Advanced display > Choose a refresh rate.

Windows 11
A display that supports variable refresh rate
Refresh rate of at least 120 Hz
WDDM 3.0-compatible graphics driver
