Intel CEO Krzanich Resigns After Relationship With Employee
So yes, you'd think he would have stepped down after the Intel mess with all Vulnerabilities. Then again, it's kind of a vulnerability for the company. CEO Krzanich steps down as chief executive officer after the chipmaker learned he had previously had a "consensual relationship with an employee". Which is a violation of company policy.
The relationship came to light after an investigation within the company. According to Intel's policy, managers are not allowed to enter into a relationship with employees. Brian Krzanich also steps down as chairman of the board at the company. His CEO position is taken over by Robert Swan for the time being, the financial director of Intel. Meanwhile, the company is looking for a new director. Krzanich has been CEO of Intel since 2013.
