IKEA and Sonos unveil painting on speakers (Symphony painting)

IKEA and Sonos unveiled a painting on Tuesday that features speakers. The Symphony painting will be released on July 15 and will cost 179 euros. Back in April, Sonos implied on Instagram that a new Symphony is on the way, which would be this release.

The artwork measures 55 by 40 centimeters and has a depth of 6 centimeters. The speaker is located on the inside of the painting. The frame is available in two colors: black and white. Besides hanging, you can also put the painting down.

On the front is a decorative panel with print. According to IKEA, it will be possible to exchange this panel. Although you cannot display your own photo, the furniture giant will offer different panels in the store. They are available from September 1.

The speakers can be operated from your smartphone, via a WiFi connection or Apple Airplay. However, they do not support a voice assistant, such as Alexa or Siri. You can connect two paintings. For a surround sound - arrangement it is possible to combine pictures with other Sonos speakers, such Playbar of Arc.
