Iiyama ProLite XB3270QS Monitor offers QHQD at 32inch with IPS

Not everybody has the needs for a super high pixel resolution, but prefer a good sized monitor for simple PC stuff and watching some movies. In that mindset, Iiyama released the ProLite XB3270QS with a 31.5-inch WQHD IPS panel. It ain't too expensive either at 279 bucks.

The monitor has been fitted with a 31.5-inch LCD IPS display at a WQHD (2,560 × 1,440 dots) resolution. Thanks to the IPS panel it has wide viewing angle at 178° up and down, right and left.

The brightness level is listed at 300cd so it's not an HDR screen alright, the G2G response time 4ms contrast and its ratio is listed at 1200: 1. This is a 60 Hz refresh-rate display. Connectivity wise you'll spot an HDMI ×1, DisplayPort ×1, DVI-D ×1, 3.5 mm audio input stereo mini jack 3W stereo speakers are installed. The external dimensions are W 730 × D 230 × H 445.5 to 545.5 mm, weight 8.9 kg, product warranty is 3 years and it can be VESA mounted on 100x100. The XB3270QS  can be spotted in the 279 EUR marker.

Only 60Hz? Thank you, but no thank you. But the price is good.

This might be a good choice for people looking for an nVidia Surround setup. But 3 of these at a great price and put them side by side. You'll need a top flight GPU to drive this many pixels, but all the rest of the specs seem fine to me for this usage scenario. Anyone see any flaw in this logic?

wow, that price is right. I was gonna say, "buy a 4k tv," but that price...

60Hz isn't horrible for gaming, but on a large screen you will see your mouse jump across the screen as you move it along.

The monitor can be found on amazon.de with 289.99. It's a better price compared with Dell
P
2416D (24 inch, not 32 inch; P version, not U) which costs 308.38, but the Dell can be overclocked to 75Hz.
