iiyama offers 144Hz 27-Inch Full HD FreeSync Gaming Monitor

It is called the G-MASTER GB2788HS-B1 red Eagle, yeah quite a mouth full. The TN based screen is Full HD (1920x1080) and is FreeSync compatible.

this new 27-inch TN LED-backlight monitor supports a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and provides 144Hz refresh rate for ultra-smooth action, 1000:1 contrast ratio (12M:1 ACR), 300 cd/m2 brightness, 1ms response time and 170/160 degree viewing angles.

"The 27’’ G-MASTER GB2788HS known as Red Eagle is a real game changer, giving true gamers the competitive edge they need to make split second decisions. It spikes down on your enemies with a blistering 1 ms response time, ensuring fluid and accurate transition between the images. Armed with FreeSync technology and 144Hz refresh rate, this powerful predator has no mercy for ghosting effects or smearing issues. Perfect vision manifested in the ability to adjust brightness and the dark shades with the Black Tuner delivers greater viewing performance in shadowed areas. No matter which you prefer: RTS, FPS, MOBA and MMO - choose Red Eagle and rank yourself top of the gamer community food chain."

Coming with built-in stereo speakers (2.5Wx2), the G-MASTER GB2788HS-B1 RED EAGLE provides 1x D-Sub, 1x DVI-D and 1x HDMI input ports. The iiyama G-MASTER GB2788HS-B1 RED EAGLE will hit the market this week.

Pricing hovers at the 399 EURO marker here in Holland.

I was also really interested in the Eizo until i found out it uses the same panel as the ASUS ROG Swift 279Q. It seems to have really bad issues with IPS glow. :bang:

I'd recommend seeing one in person. Sometimes the perceived glow is much greater or smaller than described by other person.

A lot worse compared to my Dell U2412M. I expect better from a monitor doing 800+ euros. A lot of people have returned their screen just to get a new one with the same issues.

Ouch, that's massive.

I hope it's not that bad when watched perpendicularly.
