in gear 4 ?
current ddr5 cpus can't make good use of ddr5 speeds
you have to use half frequency for 5200/5400 which means ddr4 4000 at 1:1 will outperform it.easily.
now +6000 kits need quarter frequency.
conscious customers will stay away from ddr5 for quite some time.
What are you talking about?
We are running 6600c28 1t on DDR5 (Hynix) in Gear 2.... This is outperforming ANY DDR4 @4000c14 gear 1

on stock vccsa and vccio I reckon ?

you just put a 6600 c28 kit in the slot and it works in gear 1 mode
doesn't 1600mhz memory controller frequency mean gear 4 mode on 6400mhz sticks ? or did you decide to slam my comment even before reading the news ? If you wanna learn more click the article link you're commenting under.

so the next question would be is it worth the tiny increase in performance given price and availability.
