HDR compatible 27-inch 4K color management LCD, EIZO ColorEdge CG2700X

EIZO announced it will introduce a 27-inch 4K color management liquid crystal display ColorEdge CG2700X for producers that supports HDR.

In addition to a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port capable of supplying up to 94 W, a wired LAN port, USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A x 2, and USB 2.0 Type-A x 2. Improving expandability while charging a notebook PC with a docking station function is feasible. Furthermore, both gamma (EOTF) compatible HDR "Hybrid Log Gamma method" for broadcasting and HDR "PQ method" for distribution and movie production are possible. Furthermore, you may set any camera log using the dedicated software "ColorNavigator 7," which can also be utilized on the shooting site. The key specs include the IPS LCD panel, 1.07 billion display colors, 500cd/m2 brightness, 1,450:1 contrast ratio, 13ms response time, 99% Adobe RGB coverage, and 98% DCI-P3 coverage. USB Type-C (DisplayPort Alt Mode) x 1, DisplayPort x 1, HDMI x 1 are the display inputs.

The stand has a tilt range of -5 to 35 degrees, a swivel range of 344 degrees, a pivot range of 90 degrees, and a height range of 155 millimeters. The VESA mounter has a 100 x 100 mm pitch, external dimensions of 638 mm width, 245 mm depth, and height ranging from 415.9 to 570.9 kg, and weights roughly 9.8 kg. The package includes a blackout hood. It's yours for 2500 EUR.

What good is 500 nits peak to professional HDR production? And only LCD? Should be full OLED panel at that price. EIZO have been taking advantage of suckers for years.
