Guru3D Rig of the Month - July 2019

by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 07/31/2019 12:18 PM | source: | 42 comment(s)

The July 2019 Rig Of The Month is called Hi-Fi PC, and you'll understand why it has been named like that after you see it. A retro build that makes use of pre Millenium Stereo equipment. It might not be the handiest PC to place in a house, but it is unique in everey way, and as such, it deserves to be a Guru3D Rig of the Month.

Coolest ROTM yet.
Massive kudos to you Božo, all you need now is a nice long hidden display cable and some wireless peripherials.

Coolest ROTM yet.

Came here to say the same thing. My favorite PCs are the ones that are far from conventional.

Aside from the radio tuner, is there anything not used? It's kinda hard to tell based on the things listed and the photos. I wonder if you could use the radio tuner for a manual overclock. It might be a little gimmicky, but, I think it'd be a real riot to open up CPU-Z and see your CPU go from 3.88GHz to 4.08GHz when you rotate the dial from 88-108MHz. Nobody else could say their PC does that.

Ah, the ultimate sleeper PC :)

Do any of the knobs and switches do anything PC-wise? It would be cool to flip a switch and turn on the PC or turn a knob to control fans.
