GeForce GTX 1070 Ti pops up in webshops - prices listed and all cards clocked similar

GeForce GTX 1070 Ti pops up in webshops - prices listed and all cards clocked similar

Multiple etailers have started listing the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti. With prices running in the six to seven-hundred euro ranges on pre-order, the card might be more expensive as to what was expected.

Then again, the are artificially inflated pre-order and list prices. The products listed are for Asus, MSI and Zotac as videocardz has spotted. It seems that a German and three Spanish websites show three ASUS cards with a variety in cooling models like STRIX and a new 'Turbo' single blower style product. Prices here range from 718, 733 and 746 euros (which obviously is an unrealistic final price).

From the looks of it, MSI will release five models of the GTX 1070 Ti with the Aero, Armor, Duke, Gaming and Titanium models. Here the big news now seems confirmed, they all run at a 1607MHz base clock with a 1683MHz turbo clock. That means that the AIB partners have not been allowed to push performance forwards and factory tweak the cards any higher as rumored. Likely as the card will quite easily beat the GTX 1080 and Nvidia would not like to canalize that product range. I am however 99.99% certain that you can tweak the cards manually with software like afterburner.

For Zotac two cards have been spotted, the GTX 1070 Ti Mini and  GTX 1070 Ti Amp! Extreme. Nvidia would be announcing the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti October 26th with stock availability and reviews on November the 2nd. Below the screengrabs, as spotted by videocardz.

A note, with GeForce GTX 1080 avaiable in the 525 Euro marker you can bet that the prices will be far below what these shops are listing.

MSI alone releasing five models right off the bat.
Now compare that to that other, revolutionary GPU :) where you have to put a gun to AIBs head to do something with the chip

Well price should be 399 euros, 399 pounds, 399$ or else it has no much meaning at all, after all this card exist only because of Vega 56 and like i said before 1070+1080 should perish from stores no need for them if price goals are like above.

Rumor is his mining performance is better than average.

If it's true that all mining craze is buying a single gaming GPU model (1070 Ti wathever brand) and leaving other gaming GPUs prices at normal levels for gamers could be a very good news.

Before everybody runs to the hills with their arms flailing in the air panicking over the price of the GTX 1070TI:

The latest news comes from MyDrivers, which reports that the purported GTX 1070 Ti would feature 2432 CUDA cores, just 128 CUDA cores less than the more expensive GTX 1080. The GTX 1070 Ti will fall between the GTX 1070 and GTX 1080, with the GTX 1070 to ship with GDDR5, and not GDDR5X memory like the GTX 1080. NVIDIA is expected to launch the new GeForce GTX 1070 Ti sometime in late October, for $429.

And October 26th is the release date. And of course since the Gtx 1070 is going for $420 in the U.S. on average prepare for the price gouging to begin. I can see the card going for $480 U.S.
until the dust settles. The Gtx 1080 can be had for $500 now so the 1070ti will be a bad buy if they price gouge it..

I can see 480usd just for the fact that vega 56 Is about that price.
it would pretty much suck at that price but if 430-50 is what we get from etailers it will be fine.
cant believe that p/p has gone to NVidia lately with stupidly high amd prices, cards are there in stock at places like newegg for the past month, so where are all these airplanes full for the miner now?
