Gigabyte Shows GeForce GTX 980 WaterForce 3-way SLI

Gigabyte Shows GeForce GTX 980 WaterForce 3-way SLI

Will this ever reach retail ? I don't know. But it has a valid SKU code, N980X3WA-4GD. At computex Gigabyte already was showing this a bit but it seems that they are releasing a GeForce GTX 980 WaterForce. The kit would consist out of three GeForce GTX 980 graphics cards that come with pre-fitted liquid cooling connected to a radiator and reservoir box.

Now, the three cards come factory-overclocked at a 1228 MHz core with a 1329 MHz GPU Boost, and 7.00 GHz memory. It has a liquid-cooling pump-block sitting on top of the GPU yet also cools memory and VRM.

Each card is attached to its own 120mm radiator. If you look at the box, you will notice that you can regulate fan RPM and this noise levels as well as pump speed. Next to that you can read out VAG temperature, fan and pump RPM etc on an LCD display.

Well check out the pretty pictures I'd say.

is 120mm rad gonna be enough for one gpu?
It'll probably run really warm though.

It's one rad PER GPU, that should be fine.

The pump should be on the block, it was more practicable to create 3 separates loops instead of a single beefy one. ( and increase the cost a lot )
