Gigabyte Releases Radeon R9 380X Graphics Card
Gigabyte also releases their Radeon R9 380X. As part of the G1 GAMING series, this mid-end graphics card is packed with 2048 Stream Processors, a 256-bit memory interface, a core clock of 980MHz and a 4GB of GDDR5 memory set @ 5700MHz.
Utilizing a PCI Express3.0 x16 bus interface, the card is built with the company’s popular WindForce 2X cooling solution (w/ 2x 90mm fans) and has 1x DVI-I, 1x DVI-D, 1x HDMI and 1x DisplayPort output ports.
Codenamed GV-R938XG1 GAMING-4GD, the Gigabyte Radeon R9 380X is available now for about $265.

As the review of an overclocked sample showed us, the performance gain over the non-X model was less than stellar, so I don't really see the point of models like this with practically no factory overclocking. The price is much higher than non-X's, yet the performance is only marginally better. It's like filling the gap in pricing but not in performance, haha.
