Gigabyte GTX 1080 Ti AORUS Photo & Info

Gigabyte GTX 1080 Ti AORUS Photo & Info

So I am not talking about the AORUS Extreme edition, this is the more "regular" GTX 1080 Ti AORUS, if you can even call a GXT 1080 Ti regular of course.Looking at the card it comes with a nice this triple fan cooler, and yes it is totally customized.

This news-item has been updated with new info:

It looks like the board partners are going wide and diverse with such an expensive product series. But admittedly, the 1080 Ti kicks some serious ass. Looking at the photo you'll notice that the GTX 1080 Ti AORUS has been fitted with a DVI port (Founders Edition doesn't have one). The AORUS GTX 1080 Ti also comes with a with full cover backplate and a copper heat-spreader at the GPU location.

Gigabyte is teasing this card as "Built for Extreme Overclocking". It has 12+2 Power Phases. The software enabled OC Mode (requires the software to run inthe background), with boost clocks of 1708 MHz and base clocks at 1594 MHz; and a Gaming Mode, with 1683 MHz boost and 1569 MHz base. The card does not have the extra HDMI ports at the rear which the Extreme edition does offer. Also that cooper block at the back is a tad smaller.  Custom GeForce GTX 1080 Ti cards should become available in the next weeks.

The (flagship) AORUS GTX 1080 Ti Xtreme Edition now has clock frequencies listed as well at an OC Mode of 1746 MHz and 1632 MHz base; and its Gaming Mode lowers those to 1721 MHz boost, and 1607 MHz base clocks.

Hilbert, any word on when the review for this card will be out? I can only guess you got your hands full already with all these cards being released almost at the same time.
