GeForce GTX 750 Ti "Maxwell" Performance Numbers Leak

by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 01/20/2014 01:23 PM | source: | 34 comment(s)
GeForce GTX 750 Ti

Over at Asian website Coolaler initial numbers of the GeForce GTX 750 Ti, that is rumored to be on Nvidia's new Maxwell architecture (still on 28nm btw) have appeared. You'd expect the card to sit inbetween GTX 660 and say 760 performance, but according to the early numbers, the card is 10% slower than a GeForce GTX 660.

Do keep in mind these are unreleased, unofficial, with non-final drivers results based on a card that officially has not been released.

Some Compute performance would be nice to see along with some GPU specs.

The performance of the card, seems underwhelming if true.

Granted the drivers are unofficial, but I thought Maxwell would leap-frog Kepler in terms of performance while consuming less power.

Could official drivers increase performance by 30% over these rumored numbers? Doubt it.

@ James Frazer, if you see a problem in an article report it politely, there is no need to be rude. Sometimes articles are posted, and edited afterwards :)

I would love to see James Frazer trying to make the same report in Dutch and let us critique his attempt.

Looking at the performance, I find it hard to accept. I hope this introductory card is underperforming due to drivers. We have seen this in the past.

Regardless of 750 Ti performance, I always get excited when new architecture hits the market.
