GALAX Shows Liquid Cooled GeForce GTX 1080 Ti HOF OC Lab Edition Graphics Card

Check that puppy out, GALAX is teasing a new GTX 1080 Ti Hall of Fame graphics card. This time one has a transluscent acrylic water-block and will be called the GALAX OC Lab Edition.

the card will share all primary features features with the regular GTX 1080 Ti Hall of Fame Edition PCB and component wise, becasue, well it is the same card. It is a 14-layer PCB with 16+3 phase digital power supply.

The card has three 8-pin power connectors and has anti-noise low ESR inductors. The LED enabled waterblock is one frok Bitspower. This is a teaser hence no further specs and pricing is available.

This card actually looks great. I'm sure it will cost a few body parts.

Very nice..... Now... with the power delivery of the 1080Ti does the third power connector make a true difference? Will the card actually "draw" up that specified amount of power through the three PCI-E connectors and the slot itself?

I'd love to know if this is a comparable card when compared to the kingpin variant regarding power and how it is delivered/applied to the card.

Just asking as I have seen videos and have read that the 1080Ti will not do much more than the FE brethren in regards to core overclock and overall frequency. Just the way the chip is made...?

Can anyone verify any of this?
