G.SKILL Launches Trident Z Royal Series DDR4 RGB Memory Kits

G.Skill sends word on a new memory kit they are releasing, meet the Trident Z Royal series DDR4 memory, with extreme speed up to DDR4-4600.

Taipei, Taiwan (20 November 2018) – G.SKILL International Enterprise Co., Ltd., the world’s leading manufacturer of extreme performance memory and gaming peripherals, is launching Trident Z Royal series DDR4 RGB memory kits, featuring a patent-pending full-length crystalline light bar upon a polished heatspreader in gold or silver with stunning 8-zone RGB lighting. The patent of the crystalline design on PC components has been applied for across major countries. Available in high-speed specifications, the Trident Z Royal is first available from DDR4-3000MHz to DDR4-4600MHz at launch. Magnificent Royal Design

Upgraded RGB Lighting

Inside the Trident Z Royal is the next generation RGB module designed with 8 individually controllable lighting zones, which allows for smoother color transitions and provides an even more stunning lighting experience for your build. With normal heat spreader i would have considered them.

i wonder why the 8gb x 4 requires 1.5 volt. And i wonder if having 4 dimm in my system is stopping me to get higher than 3200 ( in ryzen )

Siiiiiick. Can't wait to see what's available when i finally do build again. Memory sure has come a long way since DDR4's inception.

Yes, if you use Dual rank or two modules per memory channel, it create more stress on memory controller which can result in lower stable frequency.
