EVGA Preps limited edition PC EVGA E1 for its fans

EVGA launched the open frame PC EVGA E1 comprised of high-grade components. It's a limited-edition PC that will be available exclusively to EVGA Elite Members, the whole component list will be revealed later.

The chassis frame is constructed entirely of 3K carbon fiber and weighs around 1.25 kg. It is billed as the lightest open frame case in contrast to comparable models. There is a "EVGA Z690 DARK K | NGP | N" motherboard installed, and the graphics card (although the GPU installed is unknown) will also be a water-cooled model with "K | NGP | N" characteristics. Additionally, the CPU cooler utilizes an all-in-one water cooling unit that includes a 360mm radiator, an ARGB ring cooling fan, and a water block with a small LCD. The power supply unit is a special edition 1600W variant that is 80 PLUS TITANIUM certified and also features a 3K carbon fiber frame.

Additionally, the bottom features an analog meter that displays the CPU and GPU utilization rates as well as the system temperature, lending the machine a premium feel. As previously stated, although full specs are unknown, future releases may occur prior to and following the lifting of the prohibition on "GeForce RTX 3090 Ti" due to the GPU specifications being blank. Price is tba. The product looks very nice, please do notice that if you look closer at the photos, none of the cablings actually is there / connected.

Having been a loyal eVGA customer since 2007, only ever having owned eVGA graphics cards (six generations), and my last three motherboards being eVGA, as well as being an 'Elite Member' (for all the good that does anyone), I look at this and feel eVGA is just trying too hard.

Hard pass.

Whoa, the case and dials will add £1000 to the price. I think it's a £6000 PC. I know someone that would pay it but not me.

Evga learning the art of milking. When you have limited stock of high performance GPUs, its a waste to sell them on their own. Best to bundle it in an expensive rig with other products that you also make.
