EU prices listed - AMD Ryzen 7 1800X To Cost 628 EUR

So we have seen several prices for AMD Ryzen already. This time in the Eu they surfaced in price listing as well. A Belgian online retailer has started taking preorders for Ryzen CPUs.

You will notice two SKU codes per Ryzen CPU, likely with and withouth CPU cooler. As expected AMD is to launch only the 8-core parts first, there are no entries found on Ryzen 5 or Ryzen 3.

Also it seems AMD has dropped the Ryzen R7 identifier to just Ryzen 7.

centralpoint.be (they have now taken down the listing) also shows that the SKUs listed below should be in stock on February 28th.

So that'll be £599 at least then.

I'm glad they dropped the R. That just made things unnecessarily confusing. Though considering how close they are to launch date, makes me wonder if any of their printed boxes and documentation are incorrect? Or do they do that later?

Anyway, that sucks about the tax.

So the lowest model will be within 20-30euro range of i7-6800k. Unless it performs marginally better, I don't see myself going AMD.

6 vs 8 cores - why pay more for less, especially if the performance is better with the latter? :3eyes:

That's why I said "unless it performs marginally better", if it's the same and I know that Intel has no problems, while AMDs platform will be plagued by problems in the first 6-12 months, I'd definitely go Intel.
