Test

Hello everyone !!

And welcome to my test of this USB-stick

So, I bought the 32GB version - Because there is not made a 64GB yet.. damn it..

Anyway, I just HAD to comment here, because I bought the device because I read about it on this forum.

SO, how did the test go ?

Well.. I have it connected to the USB3 port on my VX7 from Asus:

ONTO the USB
When I want to put files From the Vertex3 SSD drive in the computer ONTO the USB-stick it's slow as hell:

6,51 GB folder copied ONTO the USB-device had 16,8 MB/sec transfer speed
2,02 GB folder copied ONTO the USB-device had 17,9 MB/sec transfer speed

FROM the USB
When I want to copy files FROM the USB-stick onto the Vertex3 SSD drive in the laptop is fast:

6,51 GB folder copied FROM the USB-device had 81,4 MB/sec transfer speed
2,02 GB folder copied FROM the USB-device had 101,3 MB/sec transfer speed

Speeds are read on the "more info" button that appears when you copy files from one place to another in Windows7. (the pop-up window that also tells you the estimated time left when not expanded)

The Price was $85 incl World-wide shipping. I bought it via ebay.

Thanks for reading everyone, I'll see you another time.

Bye bye for now !
