Dual GPU AMD Radeon R9 295 X2 In the Works
It should be abundantly clear that AMD is launching a dual-GPU Hawaii based product in the upcoming weeks. We have spoken about this topic many times before, the AMD Radeon R9 295 X2 or whatever it would be called would be based on two R9 290X GPUs slapped on one PCB.
Do the math en realize that's a nice whopping 5632 Stream Processors, 352 TMUs and 128 ROPs at your disposal. In the US AMD is sending around teasrs to press, here in the EU AMD has been showing the product towards selected people. AIB/AIC partners already have been uinformed about the new product. The card will get a clock speed of 1 GHz. Word out on the street is that the X2 will be cooled with a hybrid cooling solution equipped with an external 120mm fan, which sounds rather similar to the ASUS ARES II cooler.

Yay, new hardware

Think I prefer all the rumours and other nonsense beforehand.
Hope it's something great though, the last few years have been a succession of good, but nowhere near great GPUs
