Such meaningless DLC for $14.99???
For 1 weapon, map and demon?... and yeah - customization color... because it is SO hard to make a full RGB palette available...

Looks like Bethesda's insanity from a Horse armour has now grown to the whole group (Zenimax) and a much bigger scope.

Glad I am not buying this s**t.

DLC is common game marketing model this days.

In my opinion, if game alone (without DLC) provide full main story experience and doesn't disadvantage player in multiplayer, it's OK.
It's up to customers to keep their itchy hands from spending money on meaningless DLC (which most kids who want to look awesome in MP really bad at).

Bad practice with DLC is having it to complete main game, that **** needs to be banned and publishers sent to jail.

Edit: anyway, Doom4... I guess it gonna be like Wolfenstein. Very limited and polished FPS. I might get it, if single player anyhow entertaining and price during sale drops below $5... so not soon.

MP Beta only, no wonder, the SP 'campaign' looks garbage!

If the dev chat video is anything to go by the SP part is a waste of time and the website clearly states: "There is no taking cover or stopping to regenerate health as you beat back Hell’s raging demon hordes." That type of gameplay killed it for me, there's no 'fun' when you're constantly bombarded with enemies and no chance to escape anywhere because you'll be dead! Leave that type of gameplay for the MP masochists!

So taking stock of the dev chat, basically the SP 'campaign' will be just a glorified non-stop repetitive BOT match that will punish players far more than it will reward them as you'll be dying so often trying to figure out a 'strategy' to complete the level it will frustrate more than satisfy! Think this DOOM is fatally DOOMED!!

It appears that you have either never played a doom game before or simply are a hater. What you described is DOOM in it's best colors. And those who loved the old ones are willing to cash out on a game that follows it's roots. I personally am sick of all battlefields & CoDs. Doom&Quake were the games I fell in love with and I have been waiting years for a proper successor. And it seems that I will get what I waited for. If you are not a fan,good,noted. But your hate speech is ridiculous mate
