Dell introduces two new full HD gaming LCD displays with a refresh rate of 165Hz / 1ms.

Full HD gaming liquid crystal displays with a refresh rate of 165Hz and a response time of 1ms have been introduced by Dell. There are two models in total.

Display synchronization technologies AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible are also supported, and the color gamut is 99 percent of sRGB. Also included are preset mode features such as "flicker-free," which suppresses screen flicker, "Dell ComfortView Plus," which lowers blue light, "sports," "FPS," and "RPG," as well as three custom mode functions. Those who are interested in the 27-inch model should know that its body dimensions are 611 millimeters wide, 363.41 millimeters deep, 492.95 millimeters high, and it weighs 9.08 kg. The 537.8-inch model's body is 5.55 meters wide, 189.44 meters deep, 451.63 meters tall, and weighs 7.55 kilograms. Its dimensions are 537.8 meters in width, 189.44 meters depth, 451.63 meters height, and 7.55 kilograms weight. It is equipped with HDMI x2, DisplayPort1.2 x 1, and a single headphone output. The common interface may support up to four devices simultaneously.

Prices are 279 EUR for the 24" model and 349 EUR for the 27" model.

350eur for a fullhd 165hz monitor is a lot
why the price tag ?
is "AMD FreeSync Premium" worth it ? are they hdr600/1000 certified or something ?

So tired of full HD displays. 1440p is pretty much standard now. 1080p, 240hz is as high as it could get for gaming. Considering, 360hz is just an impossible number to reach in most games.

This news article is one of the worst quality journalism I've seen. But then, its Guru3D so I'm not surprised.

I imagine they are the models G2422HS and G2722HS respectively.
They're just 1080p monitors, for 24'' is ok but for 27'' I'd consider not, for the price I think they're expensive considering my Benq EX2510 costed +/-225€ one year ago.
At least they are true 8bit panels and no FRC trickery is implemented.

this is true, but tbh when I compare my native 1440p shots to dsr they look like crap.
I think 1440p 144hz has been gradually becoming standard between 2015 and now,to the point where we would recommend pairing a 1440p 144hz monitor with a card like 3060.
4K 144 is becoming what 1440p 144 was in 2015-16.The adoption is slower due to gpu prices, but the technology is here.I think anyone lucky enough to get a 3080 or higher should definitely consider 4K high refresh instead of 1440p.
In other words,1440p is on its way out of enthusiast range, and while it offers really decent quality,it's about time for it to be replaced.
