COUGAR releases MG140 Air RGB chassis with big mesh front

COUGAR releases its mid tower PC case "MG140 Air RGB" compatible with the MicroATX / Mini-ITX form factor. It features a front face with numerous vents and a 4mm thick tempered glass panel on the left side.

The top is designed with an emphasis on breathability, with almost the entire surface being mesh specifications. A total of three cooling fans, 120mm ARGB fan x 2 on the front and 120mm ARGB fan x 1 on the rear, are standard equipment. In addition to being controlled by the included RGB controller, it can be synchronized with the lighting technology of motherboards that support various 5V RGB.

The cooling fan that can be installed consists of front 120mm / 140mm x 2, top 120mm / 140mm x 2, and rear 120mm x 1. The water-cooled radiator can mount a maximum size of 280mm at the front and 120mm at the rear. The drive bay layout consists of two 3.5-inch / 2.5-inch shared bays and four 2.5-inch bays, with four expansion slots. It supports a graphics card up to 350mm and a CPU cooler with a total height of 160mm.

The front I / O is equipped with USB3.0 x 2, USB2.0 x 1, audio input / output, and RGB buttons. The external dimensions are width 205 mm, depth 420 mm, height 410 mm, and weight 5.45 kg.

looks like the same type of vertical slits that LianLi used in the o11, they make an insane noise when air pass through I dremeled all mine top-left-rear-bottom and only left the dust filters where needed, I only regret cutting the top one because of LianLi design :p the grill isn't even in front of the fans itr's larger so I see an ugly part now

yes the holes matter : +4.5dB because of the "angled slats" design https://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/articles/Effects-of-Grill-Patterns-on-Fan-Performance-Noise-107/
I googled after my own tests to see if I was crazy, tested in those configurations : air-old school wire grill-the hexagonal holes case thing-radiator and against the lian li case slats
but nope sure is the worst design sound level wise
noctua-corsair-bequiet all made a noticeably more annoying noise in front of those
