Computex 2015: Fractal Design

Fractal design wasn't present at Computex this year, yet they where … huh ? So physically they did not have a booth, yet they hosted trips to their office for a product overview and on the Wednesday evening there was a gathering where their new product are on display.

Hey free drinks and food, what would you do.. Office or the gathering with free food and drinks ? Yeah that's right, so did yours truly (dude I am Dutch you know).

NODE 202 - Size does matter
The Node 202 is the ultimate PC case for those looking for a beautifully designed, compact chassis that can house a capable gaming build.
This small footprint is an intelligently built unit where extreme detail was placed into the design phase to get every line and spec in perfect harmony. With both horizontal and vertical orientation possibilities, the Node 202 can be placed anywhere in the house. The sleek design makes it very attractive next to the TV in the living room or on your desk in the office. EURO € 89.99 and the Node 202 + Integra SFX 450W PSU EURO € 159.99.

Core 500 - Small footprint. Big potential
The Core 500 is the perfect PC case for those looking for a small, compact chassis that lets you build your computer without compromising on component selection. The case comes with one Silent Series R3 140mm fan and space for an additional two 140 mm fans, water cooling radiators up to 280mm or air coolers up to 170 mm in height. The Core 500 allows you to use every last square millimeter of this compact, 19.5 liter case. EURO € 69.99

Kelvin LCS Series – Revised Powerful. Quiet. Expandable.

What’s changed?

  • Upgraded to Dynamic GP-12 PWM fans for quiet operation with significantly large airflow; Wide PWM speed range, 500-2000 RPM, providing accurate and better fan speed control with quieter operation
  • 9V speed adapter now included with purchase to help control desired speed and noise level for the pump
  • Improved dedicated fillport design and quality: Extra strong fill port that can be accessed by hand, with an allen key or with a coin for easy and durable handling.
  • Radiator screws updated to PH2 heads for simple management with screw driver. No allen key required.
  • PWM splitter does not include mesh to match the updated fans

Below product photo-shoot taken, on display are the latest Fractal Design Chassis an overview.

Hahaha, I bet it's part geek part Dutch ;) Have you met the crew from Hardware.info? They're pretty active when it comes to posting, luckily you guys both post different things :)

OT: Cases look pretty solid, might invest in one sometime soon. Coolers don't look that much different from everything else TBH.

Veel plezier en geniet van je trip!

Twiddles the kelvin series is the first expandable/upgrade-able AIO liquid cooler. I for one am very excited about them. Sure, why not just buy your own liquid kit if you're gonna expand on it anyway. at that point I guess its a wash if you aren't just excited about innovations. but I love the sleek modern design also. hopefully you can get them in america once this lawsuit business blows over.
