Computex 2015: Corsair places focus on 4K

Well, 4K gaming that is. Corsair this year organized a presentation in a dandy club, yet also is present in the Hyatt hotel where they have their latest and newest kit on-site to observe and test, a good moment to test that bulldog bare-bone that was announced on Monday.

Corsair is making a move towards gaming, hence Corsair Gaming is a truly big thing for them. Good news, they have a new logo ;) This one will sit better with quite a few, so the Corsair Gaming trampstamp as some people called it, is a thing of the past.

On display the latest ranges of mouse/keyboards, chassis and power supplies.  Corsair is also doing well in the cooling segment with their latest hydro series liquid coolers. You have been able to read pretty much all review here on the website of course.

Corsair announced the addition of the RMi Series PC power supplies to the company's award-winning line of PSUs. The new RMi Series PSUs raise the bar for what PC enthusiasts can expect from an 80 Plus Gold certified power supply with the addition of silent Zero-RPM fan operation, Corsair Link customization and monitoring, all 105°C- rated Japanese capacitors, and fully modular cables. The new RMi Series PSUs are immediately available in 650, 750, 850, and 1000-Watt capacities.

The Bulldog is their first DIY PC built exclusively to bring the vivid immersion of 4K gaming to the living room. Composed of a DIY kit with a stylish gaming console-sized chassis, liquid CPU cooler, power supply, and motherboard, and designed with plenty of space for customization and upgrades, Bulldog provides the foundation for users to build the ultimate living room PC. 

The STRAFE mechanical gaming keyboard then, STRAFE will be widely available in late June at an MSRP of $109.99. The STRAFE mechanical gaming keyboard's red backlighting can be customized to a virtually unlimited number of lighting configurations and effects. Each key can be programmed with automated macros using CUE (Corsair Utility Engine) software. Users can choose from six unique lighting effects or craft their own custom profiles and share them on Corsair Gaming.
 

The lapdog: So basically the Lapdog is dock for a Corsair mechanical gaming keyboards with a mouse-pad area. There are some things in there that can be handy like a hidden USB dock, here you can route and hide your cables. Connected through the hub you can then use the three external USB ports for say a headset, flash disk ir whatever you want to connect to it.
 

The backside of the Lapdog is cushioned with soft NASA foam for user comfort. The Lapdog will ship later this year in Q4 2015 for 89 and with a RGB keyboard combo, $199.
