Command & Conquer: Generals 2 Announced

EA revealed at last night's VGAs the new Command & Conquer Generals 2, and the rebranded BioWare Victory (formerly EA Victory) has been named the developer.

Sentiments about the original Generals game were mixed, thanks to gameplay tweaks that set it apart from the core series. The new C&C Generals, due out some time in 2013, will utilize the Frostbite 2 engine, which recent EA titles like Battlefield 3 and NFS The Run also took advantage of.

Too weird ... Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but on top of the fact that you need to connected online at all times while playing, Command & Conquer 4 won't have LAN or dedicated server suppor...
