CES: Promise launches ZERO
Promise will soon launch an easy and extremely user friendly NAS unit for people that dont like all the whistles and bells. If all the NAS and RAID stuff is too funky to set up for you as the ZERO stands for zero configuration! The picture shows a prototype (near final actually) from this SNS -- Simple Network Storage.
In the meantime, Promise have just released the NS4600 SR1 which they are showing off at the booth as well. That stands for Service Release 1, by the way, which means better performance and lots of new features. We will have a NS4600 review up in the upcoming weeks though as a unit already arrived in our office last week. Here's a photo of the ZERO.
