Buffalo releases USB 3.2 Gen.2 SSD that reaches 600 MB/sec

The stick-type SSD supports USB3.2 Gen.2 and supports high-speed data transfer of up to 600 MB/sec. The connector is USB Type-A and comes with a Type-C conversion adapter.

The housing conforms to "MIL-STD-810G 516.6 procedure IV" that can withstand a drop from a height of 1.2 m. The connector is a sliding type, and there is a strap hole that is effective for carrying and preventing loss. There are two capacity lineups, 500GB and 1TB, and two colors, black and white, respectively. In addition, the encryption utility "Secure Lock Mobile 2", the format software "DiskFormatter2", and the data erasure software "Data erasure utility" will be provided as downloads.

The power supply is USB bus power, the external dimensions are width 23 mm, depth 68.2 mm, height 11 mm, weight about 17 g. The product warranty is one year. It can also be used on PS5 and PS4.
