BitFenix Colossus M Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX cases

BitFenix Colossus M Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX cases

BitFenix Colossus Big Tower has become one of the favorites cases of reviewers and end users from the actual big offer at todays market. People liked this model so much, that they started to ask at BitFenix forum when the manufacturer will create the Mini version. Their requests were heard and BitFenix proudly presents today two new cases - Colossus M - Mini-ITX and Colossus M - MicroATX. Both cases have similar style to older Big Tower brother. Front panel is made from patented SofTouch material, which have much better looks than plastic in other manufacturers chassis. Through the side panels and front there is drawn an aggressive line, which can be highlighted in red, blue, green and slow pulse option. All with a simple button on the case.

The front door are opened to the left and behind them we can find one 5.25” drive bay for Blu-Ray writer or touch control panel. Inside we can mount ATX power supply with standard length and adequate mainboard depending on the case version.

In Colossus M - Mini-ITX we have two HDD cages, which gives us totally eight slots to install 2.5” SSD/HDD. This allows us to build a big NAS or true media center for home cinema lovers. People who don’t need so many hard drives, can easily remove the second HDD cage and install inside two-slot graphic card with maximum length of 320mm. BitFenix planned everything very precisely, so even that chassis is small, we can still fit at the top large watercooling radiator 240mm.

With Colossus M - microATX version you can equip with not one, but two full two-slot graphic cards, both with maximum length of 320mm and there will be still one PCIe slot left where you can put for example highend wireless netword card. The maximum height of CPU cooler is normally 160mm, but when you take off HDD cage, it is increased to 185mm. Those features allows you to build a real gaming beast and grab it easily on any Lan Party you want to go, without damaging your back spine.

Both versions of BitFenix Colossus M will be available in Europe at the second half of December at all stores cooperating with Caseking distributor.
