ASUS to offer VA326H 32-Inch Curved Full HD Gaming Monitor With 144Hz Refresh Rate

Wow 32-inches at 1080p ? Anyway, ASUS is to offer a new Full HD gaming monitor, the VA326H. Adopting a VA panel, this LED-backlight monitor (Curvature 1800R) supports a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and provides 144Hz refresh rate for ultra-smooth action.

The monitor offers a 3000:1 contrast ratio (100M:1 ASCR), 300 cd/m2 brightness, 4ms (GTG) response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles. 

  • 31.5” FHD display with 178° wide viewing angle and a 1800R panel curvature makes movies and games more immersive
  • 144Hz rapid refresh rate for incredibly-smooth and fast gaming visual

1920x1080 is no problem for 27 inch (it is perfect for me). Maybe it is no problem for 32 inch? At least most graphic cards can handle this resolution and provide smooth gaming.

You are saving some GPU raw power by rendering at mere 1920x1080 on 27/32''

But you are paying it by having more aliasing, or by deploying heavier AA pattern, or by having to increase the viewing distance.
That is if you want the same IQ.
There's no such thing as a free lunch :banana:

I wouldn't go above 24" on a 1080p screen, 1080p at 32" is ridiculous for something you're sat directly in front of.

It’s a monitor for PC gaming at two meters from the screen… I suppose there’s a market for that, but I’m not in it.
