ASUS to launch a GeForce GTX 980 20th Anniversary Gold Edition

ASUS to launch a GeForce GTX 980 20th Anniversary Gold Edition

In preparation for festivities, ASUS is not only celebrating their 500 million motherboard accomplishment but they will be celebrating a 125 million graphics cards milestone as well. This along with following a 25th anniversary comes a 20th anniversary in graphics card production.

So from what we learned, Asus will use the same cooling system and PCB  design as the Asus ROG Matrix Platinum GeForce GTX 980 4GB (review here), and that one has an up to 1342 MHz GPU clock-rate.

What is the best way to kick things off? How about new graphics cards with more MHz!  Can you guess the #guessthecoreclock

Nothing more is shared at this time though ...

1500MHz

It has to be around this.

I'd say 1450-1500.

Highest reference clock is 1418 from Inno3D and K1ngP1n.
