ASUS launches Tegra 4 based Transformer Pad Infinity

And it comes with a 2,560 x 1,600 display, capable of 4K output. The Transformer Pad Infinity reared its head at Computex. Its 10.1-inch screen packs a potent 2,560 x 1,600 resolution, alongside a quad-core Tegra 4 chip clocked at 1.9GHz, USB 3.0 port, Bluetooth 3.0 and, whoa, 4K output via HDMI.

There's 32GB of internal storage, residing inside a spun metallic-finished that's very similar to the current Zenbook series and last-generation Infinity tablets, while you'll get an SD slot through its companion dock too.

Powered by a quad-core ARM Cortex-A15 CPU, 2nd generation battery-saver core and 72 custom GeForce GPU cores, Tegra 4 delivers best-in-class gaming and entertainment. Thanks to Tegra 4, Transformer Infinity Pad customers will benefit from faster web browsing, including support for WebGL and HTML5; smooth HD video playback with 4K video support; and outstanding battery life.

As for the specs: the Transformer Pad Infinity features a 10.1-inch LED backlit, 178-degree wide view angle and an IPS+ display to deliver stunning visuals in 2560 x 1600 WQXGA. Onboard SonicMaster-enhanced audio completes the multimedia experience, so from the latest Tegra-optimized games to superb HD movie playback, this tablet has you covered. Worried about the effects of all that gaming on your battery? Don’t. The redesigned 254mm QWERTY chiclet keyboard dock now features a multi-touch pad, USB 3.0 an SDXC card reader and built-in batteries that extend this tablet’salready impressive battery life even further.
