ASUS introduces the PN63-S1 Barebone Mini-PC.

This ultra-compact tiny PC barebone is ideal for any workspace. There are 11th generation Intel® CoreTM CPUs, up to 64GB of RAM, and a triple disk configuration.

ASUS today announced the PN63-S1 Barebone Mini PC. This ultra-compact mini PC is equipped with 11th generation Intel® Core™ processors, support for up to 64 GB of DDR4 RAM and the Intel® Iris® Xe graphics solution (for Core i5/i7 CPUs) for simultaneous Operation of up to three screens. In addition, the PN63-S1 offers a triple drive design with space for a 2.5-inch hard drive, a PCIe® Gen 3 x4 SSD and a PCIe Gen 4 x4 M.2 SSD. WiFi 6, which is also more energy-efficient, ensures a stable and lightning-fast network connection. An Intel® 2.5 Gbps LAN connection is also installed as standard. The PN63-S1 is rounded off by its numerous input and output sockets. Like all mini PCs from ASUS, the device has also undergone extensive tests, to ensure 24/7 reliability.

Impressive performance

The Mini-PC PN63-S1 relies on 11th generation Intel® Core™ processors with integrated Intel® Iris® Xe graphics for high computing power. The special Intel® Dynamic Tuning Technology automatically optimizes the performance of the CPU and GPU depending on the load and thus ensures increased efficiency, increased performance and lower power consumption, especially when multitasking. The Intel® Iris® Xe graphics completes the package, as excellent graphics performance is already standard equipment - including support for up to three 4K displays at the same time.

Advanced self-cleaning

Despite its compact dimensions, the PN63-S1 scores with great comfort. This also includes the state-of-the-art cooling system: A large fan increases the airflow, a new cooling module with a heat pipe ensures efficient heat dissipation and an aluminum heat sink increases conductivity. In this way, the processor delivers top performance at all times.

The exclusive ASUS Anti-Dust Self-Cleaning System, which automatically removes dust from the heat sink, ensures smooth operation. In this way, the service life of the system is extended and the mini PC remains audibly quieter with clean fans.

Performance and availability you can count on

The Mini PC PN63-S1 is part of the ASUS Corporate Stable Model program , which includes a 36-month delivery guarantee. Like all ASUS mini PCs, it also undergoes rigorous noise, vibration, drop, and thermal shock tests. These ensure that the products meet ASUS' exacting standards and exceed industry requirements. In this way, customers can rest assured that ASUS Mini PCs can withstand even extreme conditions, from a dry 0°C to humid and hot environments with temperatures of up to 50°C for extended periods of time.

Prices and Availability

The ASUS Mini-PC PN63-S1 will be available in three barebone configurations in Germany from the beginning of March:

PN63-BS3018MDS1 with an Intel® Core™ i3-1115G4 CPU for EUR
429.90 PN63-BS5019MDS1 with an Intel® Core™ i5-11300H CPU for EUR
519.90 PN63-BS7020MDS1 with an Intel® Core™ i7 -11370H CPU at a price of 619.90 euros

Nifty little machine. That would make an awesome Proxmox node, serving as a base for LXC instances and Docker/Kubernetes.
That 2,5 GB Intel NIC makes it even more attractive, 1Gb being the norm in this minipc market.
Just to think I recently bought a Dell Optiplex Micro 7060...for almost the same price.o_O

Hyundai PN63-S1

it's not as shiny as the Asus (Celeron N4020 4gb ram 64 Gb onboard mem) BUT, it has space for M.2, 2.5", and has a SD slot wifi (ax) and bluetooth (4.2) and VESA mount

price point? $149.00 US

i use one with a 4tb 2.5" ssd for a hifi system
