ASUS: FreeSync premium monitor with 165 Hz and ELMB

by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 08/18/2021 08:47 AM | source: | 14 comment(s)
ASUS: FreeSync premium monitor with 165 Hz and ELMB

In addition to the full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels), the VG24VQ1B gaming screen offers a 165 Hz maximum refresh rate and a 1500 R curvature. 350 cd/m2 normal luminance and a reaction time of 1 ms make up the contrast ratio of 3000:1. But that's an MPRT specification, and it doesn't mention the gray change.

It also has two 2-watt internal speakers, an anti-motion blur mode (ELMB), and FreeSync Premium anti-tearing compatibility. It is not an ELMB sync model, hence the last two technologies cannot be coupled. The OSD can enable a black stabilizer, which brightens dark areas in games. Connections include DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 1.4, and a headphone output. No USB interfaces.

VESA recording (100 x 100mm), blue light filtering, and flicker-free backdrop illumination are among the ergonomic features. In terms of weight, the ASUS TUF Gaming VG24VQ1B is 2.9 kg without the stand and has not yet been marketed or sold. To utilize the monitor on a PS5 or Xbox S/X, use Full HD at 120 Hz.
