ASRock Releases TRX40 RX40D8-2N2T Server motherboard

ASRock announced an ATX motherboard TRX40D8-2N2T aimed at 3rd generation Ryzen Threadrippers based on AMD TRX40 and a socket sTRX4. The WAN/ LAN jacks include dual 10 Gigabit LAN by Intel X710-AT2 and dual 2.5 Gigabit LAN by Intel i225 as standard.

In addition, PCI-Express4.0 (x16) x3, PCI-Express4.0 (x8) x1 equipped with a total of four expansion slots, you can add a wealth of graphics cards, network cards, storage cards, etc. The main specifications are DDR4-3200 x 8 (ECC compatible) memory slot, M.2 x 2 storage, SATA3.0 (6Gbps) x4 (2 ports inside are via ASMedia ASM1061), SATA DOMx2, ASRock Rack M2-HDx2 (Up to 8 SATA3.0 ports can be added), Oculink for U.2 x 1. The management chip is ASPEED "AST2500" and also has a management LAN port.

Rear interface is USB3.1 Gen.2×2 (Type-A/Type-C), USB3.1 Gen.1×2, PS/2×1, D-Subx1. The board size is 305 mm long and 244 mm wide.
