ASRock Outs 1733Mbps G10 Dual-Band WiFi Router For Gamers

ASRock releases that 1733Mbps G10 Dual-Band WiFi Router For Gamers. The rather future looking device is a 802.11ac home router is equipped with 8x built-in high-performance antennas (w/ MU-MIMO technology).

It comes with 1x Internet LAN port, 4x LAN ports, 2x USB 3.0 ports and Gaming Boost function (allocate more bandwidth to a specific terminal), and supports for dual-band WiFi access point (2.4GHz – 800Mbps and 5GHz – 1733Mbps).

Furthermore, the G10 provides security through encryption using WPA, WPA2, Mixed and WPS. The ASRock G10 will start shipping from November 14th for 36,980 Yen, that would be a staggering $300.

How many serious gamers actually game over wifi? Also, how many gamers have 'ac' capable devices that can receive 1733mbps over wifi?
