Antec Releases DP502 FLUX Chassis

The chassis was announced I think back n November, but now makes its way into the stores, the DP502 FLUX" belonging to Antec F-LUX PLATFORM is distributed. Two colors, white and black, are available.

As standard, a total of 5 cooling fans are installed: front 120mm ARGB fan x3 (white model is usually 120mm fan x3), PSU cover 120mmx1 (reverse rotation fan), and rear 120mmx1. The front is 120mmx3 or 140mmx2, the PSU cover is 120mmx2, the rear is 120mmx1, the top is 120mmx3 or 140mmx2 when the 5.25-inch bay / bracket is not installed, 120 / 140mmx2 when only the bracket is installed, and 120mmx2 or 140mmx1 when the 5.25-inch bay is installed. Up to 9 120mm fans can be installed.

Drive bay is 5.25 inch open bay x1, 3.5 inch shadow bay x1, 2.5 / 3.5 inch shadow bay x2, 2.5 inch shadow bay x3, expansion slot is 7 steps, effective space is 405 mm in total length of graphics card, 175 mm in total height of CPU cooler , The power supply unit is 205mm deep. The left side panel uses tempered glass and is equipped with an LED & PWM controller that can control six ARGB fans.

I / O port is USB3.0x2, audio terminal x2. Corresponding form factor is ATX, MicroATX, Mini-ITX, external dimensions are width 220mm, depth 463mm, height 486mm, weight about 7.55kg. Product warranty is 2 years.

5.25 bay? im sold... few ppl used but i still consider that more manufacturers should include it.. if is there some will install a bluray .......

Really wish Antec would release an updated version of the Antec Nine Hundred Gaming Series case, not the 902, the original 900 design, outward appearance the same as the 900 but the internals all updated to be something like this.

Yes, I use two 5.25" bays. Once for bluray and another for a an ageing Bitfenix Recon fan controller.

Seeing the 5.25 bay is what grabbed my attention. I am one of those the believes that unless you have a physical copy of something you don't own it. And there is no better physical copy than a non-magnetically erasable copy that you can store away. Not to mention using blu-ray discs for back up of important files is a better security method than the "Cloud". I will probably get one of these to build a computer in for my mother as she still has tons of photos on CD.
