AMD Teases new FX-processor with Liquid Cooling
On Twitter AMD's vice president of channel sales Roy Taylor showed a photo of a box with a new FX processor. The SKU indicates that the CPU is paired with liquid cooling. Unfortunately the photo is rather fuzzy so we can not read the specs on the side of the box.
Probably (we think) these will be the retail versions of the AMD FX-9370 and FX-9590, highly (over) clocked Vishera-processors with a rather spicy TDP. We'll have to wait and see if Vishera will see an actual new release or if AMD is going to really surprise us all with something really interesting.
Something new is coming... @AMDFX pic.twitter.com/VCP7AoJHV9

I remember when they first announced the new FX's they had shown with liquid coolers. Better late than never I guess.

Those have been available for years over here. Doubt they'd handle 220W, though.

Is it wrong to hope for tweaked piledriver or better yet steamroller modules on 28nm, would be awesome

I posted in the other thread about this. It's probably the FX-9590 with an AIO.
