AMD Talks and Shows 7nm ZEN2 processors - Ready in 2019
AMD on Computex, also gave a small update on their 7nm Zen2 processors. AMD will first introduce 7nm processors on the EPYC server platform followed by the consumer parts in 2019.
AMD mentions it already has 7nm Zen2 actively being tested in the labs, and according to AMD, it's looking really good. The first sampling of the new generation will happen very shortly, in fact in the second half of 2018 already meaning that 7nm is on track alright. The processors will launch in 2019.
