AMD Radeon R9 295X2 Teased A Tiny bit

AMD Radeon R9 295X2 Teased A Tiny bit

As you all know, AMD is working on the Radeon R9 295 X2 and we think it'll launch fairly soon. The Radeon R9 295 X2 would be a dual Hawaii GPU based graphics solution with some sort of exotic cooling. AMD has send out a number of teasers towards American press in the past two weeks. Over the weekend they have shown a tease picture of the cooler as well. Suggested is that the cooler could be a Hybrid Cooler Design.

Once released it will be interesting to see what performance will be like.  Miners should be happy as well, as the card would be an excellent compute option to mine coins.

Radeon R9 295X2 was probably pushed forward by AMD due to Nvidia's announcement last week on the GeForce GTX TITAN-Z. That dual-lGPu monster will cost a nasty 3000 USD. Even if the Radeon R9 295X2 would be a hint slower, Nvidia could be caught pants down due to offering an enthusiast class dual-GPU product at much more affordable pricing.

Here's the teaser that AMD posted on Twitter, 2is betterthan1

I already have 2 XFX 290x ref GPUs, I wonder if I should sell them for this single slot x2 GPU? Or wait for the ASUS varient?

Competition is always a good thing for consumers...

It’s about Amd/Nvidia wanting to win, working to win and preparing to win...
Gotta love Competition...

Competion is good, but all tho i think 790 prolly gonne win with the price of 3000$?

I think 295X will win no matter what only becouse its prolly around 1500$ instead of 3000$

790 maybe few fps faster but it will cost yah 1500$ :P

This offcorse is speculation on my part maybe AMD pricetag also around 3000$ hehe.
