Alphacool Eiswolf 2 GPU AIO Released

Alphacool presents the first full cover AIO water cooler for graphics cards. The Eiswolf 2 GPU AIO combines the advantage of a DIY water cooling with the simplicity of an expandable all-in-one water cooling. Key Features:- Alphacool Eisblock Aurora GPX DIY graphics card cooler

The core elements of every All-In-On are the cooler, the radiator and of course the pump. The new DC-LT 2 pump has been equipped with new control electronics compared to the previous model and is, among other things, much quieter in operation than its predecessor.  The radiator is a NexXxoS ST30 240 mm copper radiator, one of the most popular DIY radiators on the market. The Alphacool Aurora Lux Pro 120 mm fans are used as fans. They have comprehensive 5V digital RGB lighting. These LEDs are also used in the graphics card cooler. The GPU block is a real Eisblock Aurora that Alphacool offers for DIY custom loops. The only difference is that the terminal has been replaced by the discreet pump unit. This means that Alphacool can offer all custom graphics card models that also receive a normal DIY water cooler as Eiswolf 2 coolers also. This means that you get an AIO unit that has no disadvantages in cooling performance compared to DIY water coolers. The new pump unit takes only about 5 mm more space in width and reflects the new design features of Alphacool. Clear edges, a flowing design that will fit in with the rest of the product range. This will be a new feature of all future products at Alphacool. The Eiswolf 2 is expandable thanks to the quick-release fasteners and can be connected to all existing AIO solutions and pre-filled systems from Alphacool. Compatibility with other Alphacool products:

  • All Eisbaer AIO systems
  • All prefilled radiators
  • All Extension Sets

Further products to extend the loop will follow.Alphacool will offer different models for different graphics cards. For the market launch there will be Eiswolf 2 models for the following graphics cards:AMD models with the PCB design of the:

  • AMD RX 5700 Reference Design
  • AMD RX 5700XT Reference DesignNvidia models with the PCB design of the:- Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080TI FE
  • Nvidia Geforce RTX 2070 FE
  • Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 Super FE
  • Nvidia Geforce RTX 2070 Super FE

More Eiswolf 2 models for custom PCB designs will follow shortly. In addition, there will also be prefilled models that can be equipped with a prefilled radiator as desired. Corresponding prefilled radiators are currently available in sizes 240, 280 and 360 mm. The RRP price is: 199,95 €

Glad that this is a thing now. You can get in future (I assume) a reference board, and mod it with an AIO. Resulting in higher performance, lower temps, and most likely overall lower cost in comparison to pre-assembled AIO cards that usually cost a fortune.

It was a thing before, there was the kraken g12 bracket and this is the 2nd generation gpu aio from alphacool. Gpus with included aios didn't actually cost much more, you could get the 2080Ti aorus xtreme waterforce for $50-150 more than the air cooled version before it was discontinued.

The main advantage of this aio is it's expandable. You can get prefilled radiators from alphacool and can even connect it to one of their cpu aios for a combined loop.

Not sure where you live - but in my place you could never ever find an AIO version for any reasonable price. It would always be 300-400 EUR above the reference.

Great product, shame it only supports RTX cards by the looks of it (and some 5700s).

I have a NZXT G12 bracket on my Zotac 1080Ti AMP Extreme, along with some small heatsinks on the VRAM and VRM. My card came with a giant 3 fan heatsink (beefy boy) but temps could reach easily 75-80C even with an aggressive fan curve.

Now, with a cheap Thermaltake 140mm AIO using a 140mm Noctua fan hooked up to the GPU fan header with an adaptor and a 92mm fan on NZXT bracket blowing onto the VRM's. The card barely reaches 55C and only just touches 60C when playing a super stressful game or running Kombuster. I can see this cooler being a lot better and would expect at least sub 50C during gaming.

We need more AIO's for GPU's, they love them thanks to the lack of an IHS and direct die contact.
