ADATA RC300 Dashcam Recorder
Ok that's a funky one. DATA is set to launch their newest drive recorder, the RC300. Measuring 64mm x 54mm x 30mm and weighing 50 grams, this compact drive recorder has a 3MP 1/3-inch CMOS image sensor, a 140-degree wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/2.0 (great for recording video at night).
It has a 2.0-inch color LCD screen, a microSD card slot (16GB card included), a micro-USB port, an AV out, a micro-HDMI output port and built-in microphone/speaker.
Powered by a built-in 300mAh battery, the RC300 can record both 1080p Full HD video in MOV (H.264) format and up to 12MP still images in JPEG format. The ADATA RC300 will go on sale from mid-December for unannounced price yet.

Did that table come from ADATA? They spelled angle wrong...
Anyway unless this has a real bargain price, I don't see this getting very far. The company isn't known for it's cameras and they have a LOT of competition in this market that have more car-specific features.

lol fixed - not sure how I didn't see that. At least the difference here is it wasn't a professional spec sheet.

Well I have G1W-C in my car and that is AUD$67 US$59. The G1W-C has a capacitor so no hot battery playing up. The ADATA RC300 is quite small and cute so if it has a good mount, works OK and it is cheap it might sell OK.

Can't find anything special about it. Yeah I know: it's compact, records in Full HD... but I dont get it, why just 300mAh battery (or maybe it's a typo, maybe it's 3000mAh)!? After year or two battery of use 300mAh battery will be unusable for recodings more than what, 10, 15 minutes...
On the other hand probably even before battery gets completely ruined most owners will run this thing on car DC adapter.
